Wednesday

Spit shine time.

It's that wonderful time of year again!
Heritage Days.
Click on the link to see what all the whole town is buzzing about. http://www.historicspringcity.org/events/index.html
The city is mowing along the roads.
 Flowers are getting planted.
Yards are getting trimmed and windows are getting polished.
We will be busy, busy, busy for the next week or so.
Waking up before the sun.
Working and loving every single minute of it.
Putting the spit shine on our little town.

Attitude of gratitude:
~I'm so grateful to live in such an amazing and beautiful town.
~I'm so grateful for wonderful friends that bring me beautiful plants and delicious treats and visits filled with laughter and "remember when's''.

  3. What a fun time! I love small, historic towns. Especially when they preserve and celebrate the history of it all. You'll have to share some pictures.

  4. I looked at the Spring City link for Heritage Days and how exciting! If I lived closer I would be there in a heart beat with bells on! How fun is that? I didn't know you lived in an historic area and look at all the talented artists you have there too. Take lots of pictures if you have time and share it with us. We have Dogwood Days here and I never go...it's the saddest excuse for a festival I've ever seen. I went down one time about 2:00 in the afternoon and there was no one left! LOL! Yours sounds amazing and to think you live right in the middle of it! Woo Hoo! Happy Heritage Days to you!

  13. Hi Kerin, I have been looking over your posts that I have missed while being gone...love the bread, the bottles stuck into the ground, the country funeral...I love that you are so in love with the place there! Us too, even if it is still just part time, our home in Bicknell is still for sale, but when it does sell then we will be in St. G full time and serving in the temple for sure! Have a great M weekend! :)

  19. LOVE your tractor! We finally bought a new tractor this year since the old one was a total antique and almost impossible to drive not to mention not doing the job right once you got it to move!

We got a good deal from a place that was going out of business so we got a different brand and it sure gets the jobs done!

    1. Hi Carol..
That's not our tractor..but one the city hired out to clear the sides of the road.
      I WISH I had a tractor!!
If I ever get one..(big IF) I'd love an old red Farmall :)
