Thursday

It's like I always say.....

Fake it 'til ya make it .
A vase filled with cheerful Spring colors..
My little French flower bucket filled with silk sunflowers.
 Why?
Because.. .. the tulips haven't quite made it yet.
They're trying.
I planted this porch box full of tulip bulbs.
Dozens of them.
I hope they make it.
Until then...I'll just have to enjoy the fake flowers and the supermarket flowers.
We are lucky enough to have a log company not too far from where we live.
Today, we took a drive over and picked up a price list.
There's a lot of fence building to get done around here.
Time to start the Spring work.
At least I'll have plenty to do while I wait for the tulips to bloom.

Maybe it's similar to ' a watched pot never boils'.

Tulips are actually one of my favorite flowers of all time. I can't wait to see what comes through here.

  2. Kerin,
So glad you let me know you're back with this new blog. I'll return. Tonight I planted some lilys and tulips that were given me these past 2 weeks. I am calling the garden my "Grady Garden" and hope these flowers continue to come up year after year. Love Spring.

  10. I can't get enough of your daisies, Kerin. ;)
I'm glad I stuck around to listen to your music for a while today. Love that song, Today is Your Day. I'm one of those few bloggers who love to listen to music when clicking on a blog. I think it separates bloggers from overly commercialized web pages.
    Humming along...:)
