Barn Flag

 Our Granary.....After.
 Folk Art Barn Flag.

 Before.

  We made the folk art barn flag ourselves.
From a piece of corrugated, galvanized steel.
I taped off the stripes and painted them, and my sweet hubby painted the star.
When all the paint was dry, I gave the entire flag a wash with brown glaze.

 Took a little team work to get the barn flag in place.

 Once it was positioned just right, Spencer and my sweet hubby screwed it into place using decking screws.

This little rock chuck watched our place to see what was going on.
She lives in the neighbors field.

Perhaps, because we put the folk art flag on our granary, it should be referred to as the granary flag .
But, then again... has anyone ever heard of a granary flag?

Attitude of gratitude:
~I'm grateful for the way our family works together to get projects done.
What is important to one, is important to all, and we always work together.
~I'm grateful that we had a few rain showers last night. It will help me today, as
I continue to rake, level and prepare the courtyard in front of the granary.
~I'm grateful that my sweet hubby took me for a ride out to Pigeon Hollow road to look for
old bottles for the garden project that I'm working on. Man, does he ever have patience with me.

I feel blessed to live in America, and I never want to take that blessing for granted.
