Another Country Roads drive....
Vultures sunning themselves in the morning sun.
My favorite country road drives through one of the canyons.
In the same canyon above...a sweet wildflower grows out of a crack in the rock cliff.
Mule deer
Cottontail
Natural cave
Dozens of pelicans.
Lastly, a morning sky along our country roads walk.
Beautiful photos. You just can't beat walking down a country road early in the morning. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the deer and bunny! Isn't it amazing how a flower can grow in the rocks like that? Great photos today.
ReplyDeleteSo tell me about pelicans. Are they normal to be there? That is a huge flock. I would go for a drive all of the time if I lived someplace that is as beautiful as the place you live. Everything is so interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes...pelicans are around these parts, although they are usually on a larger body of water, like Fishlake.
DeleteIt was pretty amazing to see so many along this creek.
Hi Kerin~ What a lovely road trip, I love the canyons in your part of the world! There is so much beauty if you just look for it. In your case though, it's right in front of you! Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Barb
